Random Video Chat. One Tap, Someone New.
One tap puts you face to face with someone new. Not your kind of conversation? Press Next and they won’t come back around for a while. No sign-up form, nothing recorded.
Getting started
Three taps to a random video chat
- 01
Tap Start
Your browser asks for the camera and mic. That’s the whole setup. Nothing to download, nothing to type.
- 02
Confirm you’re 18+
One tap. NextFace is for adults, and the community rules fit on a single screen.
- 03
Say hi, or tap Next
Stay as long as it’s going well. When it isn’t, Next is right there and you move on to someone else.
Your call
You decide how much of you is in the room
Every chat starts face to face, and every one of these works mid-conversation.
Camera off, keep talking
Turn your camera off and the chat carries on by voice. Turn it back on when you’re ready.
Blur your face
Your picture goes soft, and that’s what the other person sees too. Good for a first hello.
Mute your mic
Take a call, let the dog out, come back. The chat waits.
Report and block
After a chat, open the person’s profile to report them or block them. Someone you block won’t be matched with you again.
Lean toward a country or a language
Inside the app you can set where you’d like your matches to come from and which language you’d rather speak. It’s free, and it’s a preference rather than a filter: NextFace follows it when there are people available who fit, and still finds you someone when there aren’t. Random is the point. Preferences just tilt the odds.
Safety
Built so a bad match costs you one tap
Full details, plus a few habits worth keeping, on the safety page.
- Moderated 24/7
- There’s a moderation team on duty around the clock. Rule-breakers get removed.
- Reports go to people
- Every report lands with the moderation team. They act on it; you don’t have to chase it.
- Nothing recorded
- Video and voice chats aren’t recorded or stored by NextFace. When the chat ends, it’s gone.
Who runs this
An independent site with a short to-do list
NextFace is its own brand, not a relaunch of any site that came before, and it isn’t trying to be a social network. One stranger, one conversation, a Next button that means it. Questions, press, or something that went wrong: [email protected], or read about the site.

FAQ
Questions people ask before their first chat
What is NextFace?
A random video chat site that runs in your browser. You’re paired with one person at a time. Talk as long as you like, or tap Next and someone new takes their place.
What happens when I tap Next?
The current chat ends and you’re matched with someone else right away. The person you just skipped is kept out of your rotation for a while, so you’re unlikely to bump into them again right away.
Is NextFace free?
It’s free to start. A new account comes with some free chats. Once those are used up, continuing is paid. You’ll see what that costs inside the app before anything is charged.
Do I need to create an account?
There’s no form to fill in. An account is created for you in the background when you arrive. The person you’re matched with sees your nickname, avatar and country.
Do I have to keep my camera on?
No. During a chat you can turn your camera off and keep talking by voice, or blur your picture so the other person sees a soft version of you. You can switch back whenever you want.
Can I choose who I talk to?
You can set a preference for country, language and more inside the app, and it’s free. It’s a preference, not a filter: NextFace leans toward it when it can and still matches you when it can’t.
Is it safe?
Chats are moderated around the clock, nothing is recorded, and the people you skip stay out of your rotation for a while. If someone crosses a line, end the chat and deal with them from their profile. The safety page has the full picture.
Is NextFace an alternative to Omegle?
Yes, if what you liked was meeting one stranger at a time and pressing Next. NextFace works the same way, without a sign-up form, and with a Next button that doesn’t recycle people. The Omegle alternative page goes through the differences.
A new face is one tap away.
Random video chat in your browser. Stay for the good ones, press Next on the rest.
Free to start. No sign-up form. 18+ only.
