About NextFace
NextFace is a random video chat site. You meet one stranger at a time, in your browser, and when it’s not working you press Next. This page is the who, the why, and how to reach us.
Why it’s called NextFace
Random chat lives and dies by the Next button, and on a lot of sites it’s a reshuffle: skip someone and you may well see them again a few taps later. We thought Next should mean what it says. On NextFace, whoever you skip stays off your screen for a while, and the next face really is a new one. The name is the feature; here’s how it plays out.
How the site works
Tap Start in your browser (there’s no app), confirm you’re 18 or over, and you’re paired with someone on camera. Stay as long as the conversation is good. Press Next when it isn’t. Camera, blur and mic are all under your control while you talk, and changing any of them doesn’t end the call.
There’s no sign-up form. An account is created in the background when you arrive; what the other side learns about you from it is a nickname, an avatar and which country you’re in. You can set a country or language preference for free; it tilts the odds rather than filtering. After a chat ends you can message the person, or report and block them from their profile.
It’s free to start. New accounts come with some free chats, and once they’re used up, continuing is paid. NextFace is for adults 18 and over.
What we’re not
NextFace is its own thing. It doesn’t trade on another site’s name or copy another site’s design, and it has no interest in becoming a matchmaking app or a social network. There’s nothing here to build a profile around.
What we ask of you
Treat the person on your screen as a person. Keep your real name, address and phone number out of the conversation. No nudity, no harassment, no asking for anyone’s personal details. If someone breaks that, end the chat and report them. The full rules are short and live on the community guidelines page.
Who to talk to
Questions about the site, your account, billing, or anything on these pages: [email protected]. Something that happened inside a chat is better handled with report and block, which sends the context along with it. Safety questions have their own page: how NextFace keeps chats safe.
That’s the whole story.
